When you DON'T need pumping

Honesty saves everyone money: if your tank was pumped within the last two years, your drains run fine, and there's no odor, you almost certainly don't need service — don't let anyone talk you into it. Additive products that promise to "eliminate pumping forever" don't work either; no reputable pro sells them. And a one-time slow drain in a single fixture is usually a clog, not a septic problem — a drain snake beats a pump truck there.
